About Prof. Dr. Sebastian Sierra Barra
Sebastian teaches organisational development at the Evangelische Hochschule Berlin (Protestant University of Applied Sciences Berlin). He studied social sciences at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main and completed his doctorate on "Digital Practices" in media anthropology. He was representative of PhD students on the board of the Goethe Graduate Academy for Young Academics (GRADE), Frankfurt am Main. During his studies, he was active in anti-racist networks. He worked as a freelance consultant in fields of regional development, inclusion, and sustainability. His work focuses on topics of digitalisation, human-technology co-evolution, urban development, migration, and democracy. In addition to his academic career, he is active as a semi-professional pianist. Since 2019 he is a member of the Xinnovations e.V. network.
