Riccardo Martoglia is associate professor on data management and analytics at UniMoRe (Italy) and leads the Digital Maktaba (DM) IT team, which includes Luca Sala, Matteo Vanzini and Riccardo Vigliermo (doctorate students). The presentation is about Digital Maktaba (DM), an interdisciplinary project to create a digital library of texts in non-Latin alphabets (Arabic, Persian, Azerbaijani). It focuses on a demo of the current version of the tool that is being designed for the extraction and cataloguing process (use case on an Arabic book frontispiece).
