Requirements for presenting process information in the age of Industrial Digitalisation

During this talk Dr. Zuesongdham will discuss perspectives of process modelling and process management for a timeframe until 2025. She will outline which technologies are considered at the moment within the Hamburg Port Authority with regard to process management, amongst them several approaches to utilizing artificial intelligence. As a result she will also describe the deficits perceived in currently available systems.

Dr. Phanthian Zuesongdham

Dr. Phanthian Zuesongdham born in Bangkok. Graduated in the international transport management with specialization on process management, organisational development and innovation in the port and maritime logistics industry.

Before she joined the HPA, she worked with different international organisations like UNESCAP, Lufthansa Cargo, BP. She has coordinated many European projects funded by different programs.

Since 2010, she has set up the Process Management as an organisational steering and management instrument for the HPA. She has been working on the initiative the smartPORT Hamburg from the first hours. Since 2015 she has been responsible for the smartPORT Programm and its realisation. As of May 01, 2018, she is leading the Unit of Digital and Business Transformation to shape the digital change at the HPA. Digitalisation and Innovation are not only her profession but also her passion as she loves to collaborate, disrupt, create new ideas and bring them to the reality. Phanthian has been very actively engaged in different forums and working groups both national and international levels regarding the digitalization of transport and logistics more than 10 years now. Since June she has been elected as the Board Member of the Women International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA).

In her free time, Phanthian enjoyed reading, listening to music and standing on her inflatable stand-up paddle board on the Alster Lake or in Hamburg’s canals under the sunshine
